Sawada took a leadership role in unprecedented research work to provide an innovative social solution by developing a product, SK-T solution with unique sterilization and disinfection characteristics, achieving timely-release chlorine dioxide.

The core active ingredient of the SK-T solution is stabilized chlorine dioxide.
Sawada focused his research on this ingredient’s astonishingly quick effectiveness against bacteria, and from the beginning he imported it into Japan for this research purpose. However, there was no product that was completely stable, highly germicidal, and exceedingly safe for the human body. Then, as a result of dedicated research and ingenuity to create it in-house, SK-T was born.

The unparalleled features of the SK-T solution are not only its high safety, but also 99.99% effectiveness.
While keeping reliable quality standards, its core ingredient of timely-release of chlorine dioxide is designed to generate reactive oxygen upon contact with bacteria or viruses in the air or on objects. His proprietary development of timely-release of chlorine dioxide has received a great deal of attention in the industry.

When the bird flu epidemic broke out, Sawada was interested in the influenza strain and investigated it, finding that all viruses and bacteria contain proteins. When the protein-destroying SK-T was applied to influenza strains, it succeeded in eliminating the virus. Furthermore, it was effective for SARS and could be eliminated in 1 minute.
The results of this experiment proved the strong bactericidal properties of SK-T, establishing it as a product with a powerful bactericidal effect in addition to its deodorant effect.

Sawada is also a distinguished Researcher and Scientific Adviser to various prefectural government projects in Fukushima. He is a prominent consultant and a great contributor to the decontamination of rivers and reservoirs following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster.
